AI homologation compliance

Every rule.
Every truck.
Checked before it ships.

We turn the type-approval regulations into deterministic, machine-checkable rules. You connect the N3 trucks you build, and Normacore checks every one against the full set, flagging the exact clause it fails.

ANALYSING CAUGHT BEFORE THE TEST HOUSE

Cross-checking this build against the rules…

Foremost side marker at 4 180 mm, over the 4 000 mm cap (UN R48 §6.18).

The compliance gap

Homologation is the last manual check, and the costliest place to get it wrong.

A single N3 type approval rests on hundreds of clauses across R48, R148, R149, R104, R10 and R155. Engineers still read them out of PDFs by hand. On lighting alone, most rejections are not the lamp but where it sits: a side marker a few centimetres past 4 metres, an end-outline lamp left off a body wider than 2.10 m. Caught at the test house, that is weeks lost. Caught in service, it is a recall.

How it works

From the regulation to a verdict on the truck.

We read the regulations and make them deterministic, so there is nothing for you to upload. You connect your trucks, and Normacore checks every build against the full rule set, with the clause behind each verdict.

  1. 01

    Every regulation, already read

Normacore reads the full body of type-approval regulations from source, UNECE and EU, and keeps them current as amendments land. There is nothing for you to upload.

    • Every clause parsed, not keyword-searched
    • Mandatory, optional and conditional classified
    • Kept current with each amendment series
  2. 02

    Turned into deterministic rules

Each clause becomes a deterministic, machine-checkable rule. The same truck and the same rule always return the same verdict, with the clause to back it up.

    • Logic, not a black-box score
    • Same input, same verdict, every run
    • Maintained in the Normacore rule library
  3. 03

    Connect your trucks

You connect the trucks you build. Lamp inventory, mounting coordinates and dimensions flow in from your PLM, ALM and BOM through one API, variant by variant.

    • API-first, fits your existing stack
    • Per-variant, not just the approved type
    • Re-checks as the build changes
  4. 04

    Every truck, checked

Normacore runs every truck against every applicable rule and returns a verdict with the exact clause and the measured value, so non-conformities surface in engineering, not at the test house.

    • Pass or fail, with the clause and the number
    • Audit-ready Conformity-of-Production evidence
    • Flags grouped by build and programme

In practice

Teams catch violations before the test house does.

Hand-reading of R48 clauses, gone

A truck maker swapped weeks of reading lighting clauses out of PDFs for rules its engineers review once and reuse on every build.

"We used to turn clauses into mounting tolerances by hand. Now it takes a day, and every number points back to its sub-clause."

Every body variant checked before sign-off

A body builder ran each upfit against the chassis maker's locked rules and caught an end-outline lamp missing on a 2.4 m wide build before it shipped.

"It flagged a contour-marking gap our manual check had passed. That one would have come back as a field rejection."

Faster when the regulation changes

When a new R48 supplement took effect, change-impact analysis named the affected trucks and rules in hours, not the usual weeks of cross-referencing.

"A supplement dropped and Normacore told us which programmes it hit before we had finished reading it."
